25 Countries to Attend Velayat Int’l Conference
An international conference featuring Velayat (leadership of infallible Imams (AS) and supreme jurisprudent) will be held in Ahwaz, southwest of Iran.
According to IQNA’s Khuzestan branch, it will be hosted by Amir-al-Muminin (AS) University of Ahwaz on November 2-3.
The university’s deputy chancellor Hojat-ol-Islam Peyman Alinejad in a press conference said scholars and thinkers from 25 countries will take part in the international event.
He said it will be organized by the Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) World Assembly and the Qadir International Foundation and that the first edition was organized last year.
Hojat-ol-Islam Alinejad said 174 articles from Iranian and foreign scholars were sent to the previous edition of the conference last year.
He noted that the opening ceremony of this year’s edition will be in Ahwaz while the closing ceremony will be held on November 3 in the cities of Abadan and Khorramshahr, simultaneously.
The deputy chancellor of Amir-al-Muminin (AS) University added that in addition to presentation of articles on the theme of the conference, there will be a poetry recitation session featuring the Velayat of Amir-al-Muminin Ali (AS) on the second day.
He also said that three committees are analyzing and evaluating the articles submitted to the secretariat of the second International Velayat Conference.
