Delivering the Friday prayers sermons at Imam Sadeq (AS) Mosque in Manama on August 23, Sheikh Qassem also warned against the emergence of a culture of violence in the Arab world.
He regretted that people’s demands are met with violence although these demands are fair and justified.
The senior Bahraini cleric underlined that in order to end the cycle of violence and prevent the establishment of a culture of violence, Arab countries’ leaders ought to move toward political reforms and responding to people’s aspirations.
He regretted that some officials in Arab countries confront people with lethal weapons and refuse to listen to demands for dialogue and logic.
