Imam Khamenei Urges Promotion of Prayers
Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khamenei urged the thinkers, media and officials to make endeavors to promote prayers.
In a message to the 22nd National Conference of Prayers, Imam Khamenei referred to fostering prayers as one of the main responsibilities of the faithful, saying that everyone can carry out this responsibility, the thinkers and lecturers by writing and giving lectures, the media through attractive programs and the officials of different organizations based on the duties of their organization.
The message was read out by Hojat-ol-Islam Miremadi, representative of the Supreme Leader in Lorestan province.
Imam Khamenei in his message underlined that the faithful ought to elevate the quality of their prayers at the personal level and promote prayers in society at the social level.
The Supreme Leader also urged for saying prayers in mosque and holding congregational prayers as much as possible.
His Eminence further referred to the lack of mosques in cities, towns and villages, lack of prayer rooms in places like parks, stadiums and stations, lack of attention to the time of prayers, and lack of attention to prayers in school books as some of the weaknesses that efforts are needed to remove.
The 22nd National Conference of Prayers began in the city of Khorramabad, Lorestan province, on Wednesday, September 4.
