Head of the country’s prayer headquarters Hojat-ol-Islam Mohsen Qara’ati made the remark in an interview with IQNA’s Qazvin branch, adding that along with issues like Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), Osul and Ahkam, Quran translation and interpretation should be put on seminaries’ agenda.
He described the Quran as the comprehensive plan for man’s life and said the teachings of the Holy Book should be top on one’s agenda in life.
He said guidance on different aspects of life can be found in the Quran, noting that there are more than 2700 legal points as well as over 300 economic points in the Holy Book.
“We should make efforts to promote the Quran in society and create an unbreakable bond with the Holy Book,” the cleric underlined.
He also urged that the teachings and concepts of the Holy Quran should be presented to people in a simple and easy-to-understand way.
