Birth Anniversary of Hazrat Masoumeh (SA) Celebrated
The holy shrine of Hazrat Abdul- Azim (AS) in the city of Rey, south of Tehran, has hosted a ceremony marking the birth anniversary of Hazrat Masoumeh (SA).
The ceremony was held Friday night, September 6, after Maghrib and Isha prayers, the public relations office of the Astan (custodianship) of the holy shrine reported.
It began with recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by prominent Qari Amin Pouya.
The ceremony was followed by a speech delivered by Hojat-ol-Islam Oveisi and eulogy performances by Asghar Farahani.
The second day of the month of Dul-Qa’ada on the Hijri lunar calendar marks the birth anniversary of Hazrat Masoumeh (SA), the beloved daughter of Imam Musa Kadhem (AS).
