Winners of Qatar Phone-in Quran Competition to Be Honored
The winners of a radio phone-in Quran competition held in Qatar under the title of “Ahl-ul-Quran’ will be honored in a ceremony tonight.
The ceremony will be held at a mosque in the capital city of Doha, Al-Raya newspaper reported.
The competition was organized by Qatar Quran Radio in cooperation with the country’s Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Ministry.
The Ahl-ul-Quran competition was received very well and a large number of individuals took part in the Quranic contest.
Qatar’s Quran Radio held the competition during the holy month of Ramadan in the category of Quran recitation.
A jury panel have assessed the qualifications of the participants in Sowt and Lahn and selected the winners.
