Officials from interior ministries of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (PGCC) member states have adopted new hostile stances against Hezbollah.

In their meeting on Sunday, September 15, in Bahrain, they talked about active strategies to confront Hezbollah.

Bahrain’s deputy interior minister Khalid Al-Abasi who chaired the meeting called for active strategies against what he described as “any terrorist activities by Hezbollah and its affiliates”.

He is attributing terrorist activities to the resistance movement while the Al-e Khalifa regime in Bahrain is committing state terrorism by continuing its crackdown on peaceful revolutionaries, denying Bahraini people their legitimate rights and destroying places of worship.

Al-Abasi also hailed the recent move by the European Union’s move to add Hezbollah to the bloc’s list of terrorist organizations.

The Bahraini official further accused Hezbollah of illegal interference in the affairs of Syria while making no mention of the terrorists who have come to Syria from different Arab countries to commit inhuman crimes.
