Director of “Muhammad VI” Center for Quran Recitations and Studies in Morocco was appointed by the country’s Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs.



According to Al-Maghribia website, Ahmad Towfiq, the Moroccan minister, appointed Khalid Al-Saqi as the new director of the Quranic center.


The significant potentials and character of the director as well as his scientific activities have been clarified in the assignment issued by the ministry.


It says that Khalid Al-Saqi was a higher education lecturer at Al-Hussayniyah Dar-ol-Hadith in Morocco, deputy of the center and supervisor of Al-Waziha magazine published by the center.


He was also the producer and executor of a radio program titled “Al-Risalah Al-Khalida” on Quran interpretation in English language aired via Muhammad VI Quran Radio.


The Quranic center was founded on May 2, 2013 in Morocco with the aim of training Quran reciters and experts in Quran recitations and Quranic studies.


Educating scholars mastered scientific research methods and tools and those who conduct researches to clarify the greatness of the Holy Quran as well as the secrets and rightfulness of the Divine Book are other objectives of the center.
