The Iman Islamic Center in the US state of Massachusetts is one of these centers that plans to celebrate the occasion on Thursday, October 24.
The center’s programs will start at 4 P.M. and include congregational prayers, Kumayl supplication and speeches on the event of Qadir.
The Islamic Center of Hamburg in Germany will also host the city’s Muslims on Thursday with different programs including a competition with the theme of Qadir.
The Islamic Center of London in the UK and the Islamic Guidance Council in Ontario, Canada, will also celebrate the auspicious occasion.
The Feast of Qadir (Eid Al-Qadir), the 18th day of Dhul-Hajja on the lunar Hijri calendar which falls on October 24 this year, marks the anniversary of the day in the early years after the advent of Islam when the Holy Prophet (PBUH) introduced Imam Ali (AS) as his successor.
